WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Let’s start with SIURANA, which is undoubtedly one of the wonders of Catalonia
You will discover a fairytale town that evokes memories of movies about castles under siege.
Perched on cliffs 400m above the river (and swamp), the knights of four counties had to defeat the last Saracens of Catalonia. There are vestiges of the legend of the Moorish princess.
Today you can see a charming village with cobbled houses and streets and the remains of the Saracen fortress, located at the entrance of the village.
The views are splendid and unique over the Sierra de Montsant (where we will go next).

There are 25 km that separate Siurana from the Charterhouse of ScalaDei
The Charterhouse of Scala Dei
The monumental complex of the Cartuja de Santa Maria de Escaladei is located in one of the most important natural areas of the Sierra de Montsant Natural Park.
To learn more about the way of life of the Carthusian monks and the transformations they introduced into the landscape, we will visit the Carthusian monastery.
As an option, we propose a tasting of Priorat wines.
