WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
We will take the bicycles at the Benifallet station, which is close to the other bank of the Ebro.
We will go along the greenway to the town of Bot.
If we talk about trains, we talk about tunnels, which cross the mountains with a slope of less than 2% for the outward journey. Therefore, the return is easier.
On the way, we will make a small stop after 9 km to soak our feet in the thermal water of Fontcalda at 28ºC. We will visit the places of great beauty of the Canaletes river digging its bed in the rock.
The route continues towards Terra Alta where you will have beautiful views of the ELS PORTS mountains and cross viaducts and tunnels to Bot.

Back in Benifallet, we propose as an option a paella or a soupy rice for lunch. in a small tavern near the banks of the Ebro.

If you are interested in getting to know the picturesque town of Horta Sant Joan, we can start the itinerary there. Picasso has lived in this town in Terra Alta for a couple of seasons.
The route is easier, it is 25 km of slight descent.

BENIFALLET CAVES OPTION
In Benifallet there are the Meravelles caves. It is the icing on the cake of a complete and successful day trip.
The visit is guided and lasts 45 minutes. You will be thrilled by spectacular and very unusual formations.
